Had enough time for me to go pass

Man: I actually didn't. I failed today's test. I figured that the car that was
coming had enough time, that is, had enough time for me to go pass.
But I couldn't, I didn't make it.

1- what does "for me" mean?
Does it mean "in my opinion"?

First, it has to be said that "to go pass" is not English, and I can't tell what the writer thought it meant. Maybe he meant "to go past", but that does not make much sense in context, so I will use "to pass", which means to overtake another car by entering the lane next to it and accelerating until there is room to get back in the original lane in front of it. Does it mean "in my opinion"?
