Dear All,
In the following sentence, is nothing a noun?
He will have nothing but the tools which may help him in doing his work...

In the video about grammar I'm watching right now nothing isn't marked as a noun. In my humble opinion it actually is an abstract non-countable noun though...

He will have nothing Yes. It is the direct object of the verb. Perfect Stranger nothing isn't marked as a noun.
