Grade vs Rate vs Rank vs Score
Could anyone tell me the difference between the 3 words? I want to register a domain name, rate something, but it is taken, so I am thinking to use grade something or rank something. The site is similar to hotornot.com. hotornot uses 10 ratings. Mine will only have 2 ratings - Positive or Negative.
To me, Rank means putting those in an order. So rank will require an review of all elements. While Rate/Grade is againt a standrad of one's own.
Grade is very close to rate. It is used very formally, especially in schools. Grade a test, not rate a test.
I am also thinking of score.
What do you think?

With the exception of 'rate' and 'grade', all of your suggestions suggest to me a wider range of values than simply positive / negative. I'd therefore prefer 'grade' (since you say that 'rate' is taken').

123 must specify which communities he wantsto attract to his web site.
E.g. Americans usually talk about school grades
