Gotta be?

Dear all,
you gotta be kidding me = you must be kidding me?? Is it correct?

I thought "you gotta be kidding me" means you got to (have to) kid me(sounds ridiculous)
"you must be kidding me"means "You're kidding me, aren't you?"

I thought they have different meanings...or I was wrong?

There is no difference in meaning between
"you gotta be kidding me" an "you must be kidding
me" The "you gotta" bit is slang and should be avoid
