got sth + v3 vs had sth + v3

Question

Hi, i am wondering the difference of the meaning of those,below.

1) Last year , I got my arm broken.

2)Last year, i had my arm broken.

Is the difference between those is that; In number one,for example,a
car crashed me,causing my arm to be broken and In number two,I run in front of a car that is going fast and wanted my arm to be broken so I did it in purpose.

Neither is particularly idiomatic.

Both can mean your arm was broken accidentally, and both can mean your arm was broken on purpose.

In general, though, to get something done can mean to accomplish it yourself.

Though I've been putting it off for weeks, I finally got those letters written. (I wrote them myself.)

Or to have someone else accomplish it.

I got the house painted last year. (I hired someone to do it.)

And to have something done usually means to arrange for someone else to do it.

I want to have the roof repaired before the rainy season starts. (I'll hire someone to repair the roof.)
