Isn't this incorrect? I feel well. Doesn't that mean you are feeling SOMETHING in a good way...as in touching SOMETHING. As opposed to what, I believe, is correct: I feel good.

Both are correct. The pragmatic meanings are these. I feel well = I do not feel sick = I feel healthy.
