Give directions
Give directions.
There are three blocks.
A bank is on the second block. It's on the corner.
I am at the first block.
I want to go to a bank.
So , my friend give me the direction like this:
Go straight ahead one block. Turn left. It's on the right.
Can she use "Go straight ahead two blocks"? Because the bank is at the second block.
The arguing point is:
Does "Go straight ahead one block" mean "You have to pass one block"
It really confused me a lot.
