Hi teachers,Can you help me correct the sentence below? In being treated for chronic back pains, I get insomnia.  In stead of being treated for chronic back pains, I get insomnia.ThanksTN

Edited to add: In the first version you get treatment and insomnia. In the second version you get insomnia, but no back treatment.

Hi Knoff,

I was trying to convey that ones go in for the treatment for back pain, and medication causes insomnia. I remember there was a sentence I read like: instead of...X, I get Y (in the process)

If using that pattern, how would you say it.
