Tets say I was asked to deliver construction material to a requestor and wanting to report back to the company I work for.. I say 'the 10ton load of gravel 'has been delivered'. would it be more correct to say 'have been delivered'? which is correct and why please

" W hich is correct and why pleas e? "Load" is a singular, so " has been delivered" is correct.
