hi,how would one say to the other about how far a person has to go further in a place?for example,1) You have to go further deeper in the jungle to find the waterfall. is it correct?and What does junction really mean?Can we say, "You drive into the junction on your left."	hanks

Choose "further" OR "deeper." "Into" is the preferred preposition here. You must go deeper into the jungle. You must go much further to find the waterfall.

A junction is where two pathways join. If they only cross, there must be access between the two. A bridge may cross over the top of a highway, and not constitute a junction. The confluence of two streams or rivers would be a junction. Any intersection would be a junction. "Junction box" is a common expression referring to electrical conduit installations, where the path of wires may go from one branch to another. The term applies to railroads, and any fairly permanent conduit. You don't hear it much in plumbing. "Joint" is more common. It might apply to air conditioning ducts. I don't think it applies to airline routes. I think they use "hub."

"You drive into the junction on your left" is not natural. "You will see/approach a junction on your left." "You will enter an intersection." "You will pass thru an intersection/ a junction." "You will turn left at the junction/intersection." "Continue on route 2 and turn left at the junction of/with route 5."

A junction is theoretical. An intersection is theoretical too, but is also used to talk about real space. "He was halfway into/across the intersection when the Humvee broadsided him." I don't think you would substitute "junction" for "intersection" in this sentence.
