FULFILL THE OBLIGATION

Dear Teachers,

1. I have to do my best to fulfill the obligation of a adoptive father, so when the baby is born he will be very proud of me.

- Is this natural to say?

Thanks very much to Teachers,

Stevenukd.

Hi Stevenukd, The language is fine, and natural, but there's a problem with the logic. " I don't think you can legally adopt someone before they're born. The baby will have to grow up a bit before he can be proud of anyone.

Hi Stevenukd,

The language is fine, and natural, but there's a problem with the logic. It sounds like you expect him to come roaring out of his mother's womb and say, "Gee, thanks, Dad!"

I don't think you can legally adopt someone before they're born. The baby will have to grow up a bit before he can be proud of anyone.
