Free verse poem help
Hey I need help writing a free verse poem.. I have to write it about myself I just don't know where to start..

Flying through the clear blue sky
I get a feeling that gives me joy inside
Seeing the seasons change as the years go by
I see how nothing stays the same
Friends may come and go but family will stay forever
Having no restrictions or problems of any kind I see
life from a different side
Fighting and worrying were once my way
But now I see it another way
Flapping

It's a good start. It's not necessarily a matter of adding more (as a matter of fact, revision is generally an elimination of unnecessary words, especially with poetry), but it needs to focus more. The connection between flying and the thoughts is not clear: why is the person flying? Why is it not what the person really wants perhaps? These points need to be made clear.
