Is it 'for you and I' or 'for you and me'?

For is a preposition, therefore you have to say for me, not for I. Consequently you also say for you and me. CB

Thank you. Problem is, 'For you and I' doesn't really sound like it is incorrect when someone actually says it.

I think that the reason it sounds correct is that we are always taught to say "you and I" [instead of "me and you"], but that is only as the subject of the sentence.
