For all its modesty
He has made a movie that, for all its modesty, is as big as life.
In the sentence, I can't put my finger on the meaning of "for all its modesty".
I can sort of deduce what it means by looking at the context of the sentence,
but could anyone be kind enough to elaborate on the functional meaning of "for" in the phrase?
Thanks.
