Following...

Is it correct to say?

"Following my marriage I moved to another country"

Top answer

The grammar is fine (except I would put a comma after "marriage" to help "following"), but the meaning sounds comical. I wish I had moved to another planet following my first marriage instead of staying here with her. I'm sure she feels the same.
