I would like to know if there is any difference between the words finally and eventually.
Are they interchangeable in every case ?

Hi Xerosc, No, they are not interchangeable. eventually is when an action is (or was) still in progress and has not yield a result or did not yield a conclusion at the time it was spoken. The action will be completed at a later stage.

Examples:
