Can you pelase tell me if it is OK to say existing perception in the context:
One of them is so-called perceived corruption index (PCI) which is calculated on the basis of the existing perception/observation of businessmen, risk analysts and general public.
Is the rest of the sentence Ok?

" "Existing perception" of businessmen simply refers to their current opinion of the matter. I don't know anything about PCI...
