As of late, John has been having what I can best describe as ludicrous premonitions, in which he tells us that he has asked Selma to marry him prior to asking her father for permission to do so.
One would think that a gentleman such as he would follow the convention of this family by not marrying her.
They are a sight for sore eyes, and such a burden on this family too.
