English Structure
As you know, "She is anxious" and "She is bored" has the same structure, Subject + Be-Verd + Adjective(Complement). However, "She is anxious" links to a infinitive, for example, "She is anxious to leave" while "She is bored" connect to a gerund, for instance, "She is bored studying English." That is to say, "She is anxious leaving" or "She is bored to study English" are wrong. I can't understand this. Could you tell me why "She is anxious" has to link to a infinitive and ""She is bored" has to connenct to a gerund?

It is often impossible to know why a certain grammatical form is used instead of another one. You could just as well ask why we say enjoy reading, not enjoy to read etc. CB
