Ending in/with
I saw this sentences:
"names ending with s"
"names ending in s" etc.
Is it correct? isn't it "present simple" and it should be "end in/with"?
Or maybe it's a gerund, but I don't understand why it's a gerund.

But don't adjectives come with an auxilary verb (be)?
Like:
I like names that are ending with s.
Like:
I like names that are ending with s.
