Hello, What is the difference between: "He encouraged them to draw up/write a list of half a dozen uses for the property."? Do we draw up documents or we just write them? I usually use write. Is that wrong?

Thanks, Clive. That's an interesting example. We all have computers and we can't really "write a contract", can we? We are more likely to prepare a contract or just print one out, aren't we? I am guessing now.
