As far as Indian medical qualifications are concerned, those are similar to that of medical qualifications in UK.

For example:

Medicine side - MBBS ( Bachelor degree) followed by MD ( Post graduation) followed by DM ( Super specialisation

after MD) - The highest qualification in medicine in India is MD DM.

Surgery Side - MBBS(Bachelor degree) followed by MS (Post graduation) followed by M.Ch.( super specialisation

after MS) - The highest qualification on surgery part is MS M.Ch.
