Direct Speech
I need to change these sentences into direct speech. Did I do right?
Joseph asked Alan whether he had been a soldier the year before> Joseph asked Alan "were you a soldier a year ago?"
That guy said his girlfriend lived in my neighborhood> that guy said "my girlfriend lives in your neighborhood"
