DILATE PREGNANCY
Under DILATE, no where does it talk about pregnancy in the dictionary. Is it active or passive? What do you think of the use?
I dilated very fast. Before I knew it I was 10 cm dialated and giving birth.

I'd say it's ergative/middle voice. It happens to itself. Her cervix dilated.

Her cervix dilated. In talking about our labor, we say "I am dilated" or "I was 3 cm dilated."
(Same thing happend to me. I wanted my drugs and they said "time to push.")
