Difference of will and would?

we would consider it next week..can i use 'will' here instead of 'would'? if not why?..thanks inadvance

"We would consider it next week," means one of the following:

They would do it if a certain condition was met. Example: "If you gave us all the details, we would consider it next week."
There is some probability of them doing it, but it's not definite - there is a good possibility of them not doing it. It's like they are considering to consider it next week.
It's pretty much the same as "We will do it," but in a more polite and/or official way.

"We will consider it next week," is much more definite, meaning that they will very likely do it.

So to answer the question, yes, you can use "will" instead of "would" in this instance. But not always, of crouse. It all really depends on the context and the way you want it to sound.
