Cover Letter Issue
Hey, I am writing my first cover letter but I do not think its up to the mark.
Any suggestions?

I am writing to you to inquire about a summer internship opportunity at ABC. ABC world leader in silicon to semiconductor solutions, particularly memory and storage technology. It would be an honor to work in such an innovative environment.
I am a B. Tech 3rd Year student in XYZ university pursuing major in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I have a solid academic background and have always been among top 5% in the class with current CGPA being 9.05/10. I am currently working on an R&D Project on Digital Speech Processing and Image processing. I have also completed a few other electronic projects over the past two year. I am a fast learner and dedicated to working hard. I am adaptable and can work well with teams. Over the past two years, I have taken up numerous freelance jobs, but not of them are in my area of specialization.
An internship at your reputed firm would be a great learning experience. My resume contains further information regarding my education, experience, and capabilities. I would be grateful if you would contact me regarding any relevant opportunities available.
