Loss-of-function studies strongly support the importance of this gene in melanocyte development. c-Myc deficient progenitors of pigment cell failed to pass through the embryogenesis normally. This results in drastic decrease of melanocytes number after birth and “gray hair” phenotype in mice. (For further details see abstract) 02 b 02 br

01 b 00 In the past years, I participated in two Pigment Cell Research meetings and received a poster prize in 2006. As mentioned above, my abstract was selected for an oral report at IPCC2008. Presentation of my result in front of wide range of specialists in my field will give me a great opportunity to get a feedback and helpful criticism from my colleges. This discussion will help me to complete remaining gaps in my wok and finish the publication. Since I am at the last year of my PhD, participation in this meeting is very important for my future career to establish new contacts and search for new place of work. 00 02 b 010id 10
