Could someone check out my covering letter and say if it was OK?
Dear Professor Dandy,
I graduated with B.Sc. degree in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering from Bu-Ali Sina University in Iran, and now considering applying to do a higher degree. During the course of my studies, I have become increasingly interested in the use of evolutionary algorithms such as Genetic algorithms and Ant colony algorithms for Optimisation. As this is your field of special expertise, I am interested to continue my postgraduate studies under your supervision. I would be very grateful if you could let me know whether I could apply for a M.Sc. course and working as my supervisor. I enclose a copy of my CV which gives my personal details, educations, publications and previous experiences. Letters of recommendation will arrive under separate cover. If you require any additional materials or information, I am happy to supply it. Thank you very much for your consideration.
