Could you help me?

Could you tell me whether the following sentence is fine or not?
Thank you.

In the past, marketers tried to touch people with an ad, over and over and over again until they bought it, but now that way is not available because consumers are really good at ignoring you.

In the past, marketers tried to touch people [potential] consumers with by playing an ad advertisement , (remove comma) over and over and over again until they bought it the product , but now that way is not available that method no longer works because consumers are really good at ignoring you familiar advertisements . I'd suggest you find a word to describe these repeated advertisements, or the technique of repeating them. This will result in a paragraph that is much more to-the-point and more brief.
