Could they be good explanation to the sentence given? (Unit 8)
Hi teachers,
According to the following sentence, could ‘a’ and ‘b’ be good explanations to the blue sentence?
Coke hit he policeman as hard as he could in the stomach. The policeman tried to get up, but fell back weakly.
a) The policeman tried to get up from the floor, but he was too debilitated from the hit in the stomach. He got up a little way but then went down to the floor again.
b) The policeman made an effort to get up, but he couldn't because of his debilitated physical condition.

I think you said earlier that your students have weak English.
If so, I would avoid words like 'debilitated'.

Thank you for your concerning. But 'debilitated' is very easy for them. in Spanish it means 'debilitado' So, it is really easy for them to understand it, much more than the word 'weak'.
