Letter Writing
Could someone please check this letter?
Hello everyone! My English is quite rusty and I don't dare to send off this "official" letter, which I had to write... I hope someone here can help me out. Thank you a lot in advance.

To whom it may concern
My name is [....], I am a student at [.....] where I am enrolled in a new Bachelor course of studies called “Oriental and Asian Science” for two semesters already. I planned to spend one year abroad (from 2006 to 2007, i.e. the 5^th and 6^th semester) to improve my Chinese speaking skills which is why I am currently applying for a scholarship to go to Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
However, the [...] Academic Exchange Service, which is responsible for allotting the scholarships, asks all it's applicants to prepare a schedule which fits the requirements of the respective study course the applicant is enrolled in and therefore mingle with the universities' course guidance.
In my case those requirements (for the 5^th and 6^th semester) cover deepening Chinese language courses and a course or courses about “politics of China, Tibet and Mongolia”. While I found out that it's no problem to find appropriate Chinese language courses I am not so sure if this counts for the latter ones as well. I would like to know if your school offers any study program that remotely covers these so that when I come back to Germany I can immediately go on studying without losing any semesters.
I hope you can help me with that. Thanks for your reply in advance.
Yours sincerely,
[....]

I'm working on your letter right now. Are trying to say that you're having problem finding course(s) that cover "politics of China, Tibet and Mongolia" ?

Did I make so many mistakes? hehe.
Don't mean to annoy you! :-)
But I would like to send it off as quickly as possible, because I don't know how long will it take until I get the replies (if any). And there is still a lot of paperwork to do :-)

Thank you very much! Yea sometimes I am not unsure which words I should use. My "active" English is eventually degenerating. :-)
Thanks again!
