Correlative conjunctions - Need help! Hi all, I posted this earlier today but I'm not sure why it didn't show up. My apologies in advance if this is a duplicate post. If I want to join 2 similar sentences with 'both...and...', for eg:1) The man is angry. The woman is angry. 2) My sister is away on business. My aunt is away on business. I understand that the answers should read:1) Both the man and the woman are angry. 2) Both my sister and my aunt are away on business. My question is, would it be correct to also join the sentences as follows?1) Both the man and the woman are angry. 2) Both my sister and my aunt are away on business. Please advise, thank you!
