Correct tense use?
Hi. Are they correct tenses?
1.She gave her child home-made soups continually all day and by the end of the day, his child had eaten many dishes of the soup and his cold was gone.
2. Therefore, when she was going out the second time, she felt that she must not do this. -- could we use the modal "must" in the past-time setting?
