Coordinating and Relative conjunction
I was just wondering whether "and" could act as a relative conjunction as well as a coordinating conjunction? Or does there have to be another word, i.e. a relative pronoun, and the "and" simply acts as an ordinary conjunction between a main clause and a dependent clause?

'And' is a coordinating conjunction ('coordinator' for short). It marks the coordination of two or more expressions of equal grammatical status, which may be words or phrases as well as clauses:
