Conjunction: Being/Being that
a) Being a student, I have plenty of time for extracurricular activities.
(Because (I am)=being)
b) Being that this is the final day of the year, we should drink ourselves silly.
(Because=being that)
c) Being this is a public event, I am very concerned about parking.
Question: Is c corrent? Why?
