Confused word ( Home and at home)
1) Is your mother at home?
2) Is your mother home?
Which one is grammatically correct?

In the US, both are fine. It would sound strange if the man of the house came from work and announced, upon his arrival, "Honey, I'm at home". However, if he were in the house, talking on the phone with his co-worker, he would say, "I'm at home".
