Compound sentence with two that-clauses
When dealing with a sentence with two adjacent noun clauses, would you leave off both 'that's', include the second 'that' or include both 'that's'?
If it depends on the sentence at hand, which sentence below would you write if you had to choose?
a) I thought dressing as Homer from The Simpsons for Halloween would be funny and I would make a good Homer.
b) I thought dressing as Homer from The Simpsons for Halloween would be funny and that I would make a good Homer.
c) I thought that dressing as Homer from The Simpsons for Halloween would be funny and that I would make a good Homer.

Your intentions will not be realized with a) because it reads as "I thought ... " — two independent clauses connected by 'and'. Both b) and c) are acceptable.
