Comma Use

Hiya,

I am wondering if a comma is needed after 'I love you' in English - American fiction writing.

Context:

Chantel strokes his cheek, “You’re sure? I’m so sorry you’re going through this,” she says softly, “I would do anything to take this pain away, but since I can’t, I will hold you and be there, no matter what, to do anything you need.”

Shawn smiles at her, “It’s not too bad, it’s just when I think about things with mom sometimes. I love you, though. I’d like to have another baby with you. We can hold each other, always.”

Thank you Emotion: smile
