Is it ok to say ''that comes to light", meaning "becomes evident" or "reveals itself".

Another question is, should I put the definite article in front of the KEY if it hasn't been mentioned before, but it is obvious that it is the key of the car the article is about (honda accord)?

To fully succeed in these days it is above all necessary to offer a pinch of personality, as well. In other words - a very clear picture of the past and the future that comes to light every time you reach for the key.

"Above all" doesn't seem to go with "as well".

And, "pinch", perhaps goes better with "a clear hint of the past..." than with "bring to light a very clear picture of..."

"The key" is correct.
