Is "again" natural here?
She opens the fridge. There's nothing in it. She closes it again.

I find it a little unnatural, but sometimes people use 'again' that way, i.e., when talking about an action that is reversed or opposite from a previous action.
She let the cat out. Minutes later, she let it in again.
