Clarity Issue?
Ex1: The reasons are that the crime was already commited, the offender repented, and the victim is still suffering.
Ex2: The reasons are that the crime was already commited, that the offender repented, and that the victim is still suffering.
I asked this question on another site but I was told that Ex2 is better than Ex1 because Ex1 is supposedly "unclear" and Ex2 is preferred because "that" clearly indicates that it's a suboridinate clause for "the reasons."
QUESTION: I would like to ask if that's really the case and maybe an explaination for it.

Hi, I wouldn't say this. The first example is good as it is. You don't have to repeat "that" so many times as what you're talking about is already known.

as what you're talking about is already known. I'd say that the second example reflects wordiness.
You wouldn't apply "that" so many times in real life, would you?

I prefer #2. It seems to me that the reader can grasp it a little bit more quickly, and it also just seems to me to be better style.

Is #3 unclear in some way?
I made up the sentence just to help the helpers. I initially had it in the simplest form (ex. A is B) but was told to make it more complete.
