Did the king demand that she keep on spinning till morning for three consecutive days? 'spinning till morning' would mean she won't find any time to sleep. Is my intrerpretation along the right lines?

I'm sure this doesn't doesn't happen in Yokohama, at least not to everyone, where people are quite punctual, everyday starting their regular work, business at a prescribed time!
