Check my writing please
How can I make my letter better? Please give me some suggestions.
Dear ______,
My name is_____ and I will be a high school student in a few months. I am interested in being a computer buddy for my volunteer hours.
I am very patient, good at computers, and love helping older adults. In my old school, we used to have computer lessons. When my classmates had questions with computers, I would always help them and teach them no matter how long it took. Furthermore, in my school, I am an office helper. As an office helper, I have to answer phone calls, and I have to handle and resolve parental complaints through effective communication and problem solving skills about my school. Therefore, I would have no problem helping and communicating with older adults about computers.
I am multilingual. I can speak Mandarin, English, and a bit French. There are lots of Chinese immigrants in Canada these recent years. So if someone who cannot speak English well needs help on computers, I would be thrilled to help him/her.
Because I like to become a teacher in the future, this computer buddy position will let me practice my communicating skills with people and interpersonal skills.
I am available for all four classes. I will try my best and help the older adults at my best ability as possible. If someone will be absent for a class, you could inform me by emailing me and I would be there as a substitute. Thank you for your consideration.
