Can the word 'friends' be an adj. ?
Hello,
I'm confused by the following sentence.
A: 'Just because I'm friends with her doesn't make me any less friends with you'.
B: 'I don't know. I really hate her guts!'
First, the usage of 'friends' is where I don't get. What's this usage?
Second, what does guts mean here? Courage?
