She says "with that clipped British accent—almost British accent", and later on he says that he doesn't think he has a British accent. I would agree. He has an Indian accent.

I watched the first ten minutes or so. She seems to be more interested in needling him than eliciting information.
0He sounds like an Indian who learned British English. It is surprising he didn't pick up more of British pronunciation in his twenty years there. His accent is still rather thick.
