Big salary is much more important than job satisfaction. Do you agree or disagree?

There is a trend that people are shifting towards satisfactory job over the big salary job. However, some people believe that high wage is most essential factor for them to choose their job over the work gratification. I completely disagree with this believe and this essay will argue why job pleasure is more important than higher salary.

It is true that main factor people get a job used to earn money. Nevertheless, if there is no job satisfaction, mental stress com along with it can destroy anyone's harmony in life. Recent research has found that 78% of employees in IT department is suffering from stress related diseases. The main reason of this is they were working only for money. Earning capital is essential for livelihood but not above your mental health.

On the other hand, employee can only reach to the maximum potential, if they do what they like. For instance, Piyush Bansal a founder and CEO of lENSKART has abandon his regular job despite earning a solid salary and pursue his dream of being an entrepreneur. He believes eyecare should be available all over India with affordable price and he is successfully providing eyecare products and services to the local people. This is only able to happen because he chooses job satisfaction over money.

To conclude, satisfaction in the job place major role in the selection of job rather than the high payment. Most importantly, employees will be happier and can be potentially reached to the top in his work.
