Teaching ESL to Adults: “Be Supposed To”

Please explain the use of "being" before "self-employed".
Is "notes on teaching..." a sentence?

I can't see any subject and verb in that phrase?

This is a statement, not a question.

Those aren't sentences; they're items in a list. One of the items is

notes on teaching one-on-one and being self-employed.

You may add "We have" at the beginning if you want to make a sentence.

We have notes on teaching one-on-one and being self-employed.

What they mean is notes for you, the reader, which will help you to teach one-on-one and notes which will help you to be self-employed.

Read our notes so you can teach one-on-one and so you can be self-employed.

teaching relates to you can teach.
being relates to you can be.
