I often hear people using itself in place of only, so are these correct ?

"He itself had given me the number.''

'He itself agreed to it."

This is not likely. You must be hearing it incorrectly.

Those are both wrong. The reflexive must agree with the subject, thus:

I, myself / you, yourself / he, himself / she
