auto loan

Hi,

I don't know how to express the following meaning.

I'm planning to buy a car (by/through/on) the auto loan.

Hi Ahava_yin, If 'Auto Loan' is the name of a business then we would say 'I'm planning to buy a car through Auto Loan'. If it is a service, 'an auto loan', then we would say 'I'm planning to buy a car with an auto loan'. There are other possibilities, of course.

If 'Auto Loan' is the name of a business then we would say 'I'm planning to buy a car through Auto Loan'.
If it is a service, 'an auto loan', then we would say 'I'm planning to buy a car with an auto loan'.

Thank you very much for your note. I'm trying to translate a paragraph. It talks about buying cars with a loan. Yes, it is a loan given specifically for the purchase of an auto but I don't know the exact equivalent in English, so I name it "auto loan". Do you have a specific expression for "a loan given for the purchase of an auto"?
