Attention or attentiveness
just wondering what the difference is between these two words. The abstract noun is attentiveness but in what cases would i use it as opposed to attention.

I don't use the word "attentiveness," I prefer "solicitude," "sympathy," thoughtfulness, or other more precise nouns. But I will try to use the two words in a somehow opposite ways:
